Belgium and Denmark open their doors
At the beginning of May, Belgium and Denmark relaxed all restrictions for Poles working in those two countries. This is good news in particular for the estimated 100,000 Poles estimated to have been working illegally in Belgium. This leaves just Germany and Austria amongst the old EU countries which still place restrictions on the employment of Poles. Both countries have stated that the restrictions will stay in place at least until next year.
