Poland is by far the largest of the twelve new EU member states, accounting for well over a third of their combined population. Unlike most other Central European countries, Poland offers not only an attractive base for manufacturing products destined for Western Europe, but a large domestic market in its own right.

The current economic slowdown creates an ideal time to invest. The currency is cheap, real estate prices have fallen and employees are more readily available. This lowers the investment outlay and raises the potential return.
